hey arnold inspiration

1. What made you love Hey Arnold? Like a lot of folks, I grew up in the 90's (having been born in 1989 and all), and like a lot of folks I grew up watching a lot of Nick shows like Hey Arnold, Are You Afriad Of The Dark, Clarissa Explains It All, All That and Kenan and Kel. I also grew up with shows from Cartoon Network and Disney as well. And man do i remember Nick Jr. with Face and Little Bill and Little Bear and Allegra's Window as well as Blue's Clues (sorry i'm getting nostalgic, man it's been so long since i last seen those shows; good times). But mainly i want to say that I do remember Hey Arnold and it was the one show that I remembered the most and I was such a huge fan, because i would come home from school and watch it everyday, even on the weekends when they would show it with Angry Beavers, Aah Real Monsters, Rocket Power, and The Wild Thornberries. I even watched the movie in theatres, because i love that show so much. I think it was during the time that Lilo and Stitch came out in theatres too (cause i went to the movies with my cousins and they wanted to see Lilo and Stitch while I wanted to watch the Hey Arnold Movie). What I loved (and still love) about Hey Arnold was that it taught you morals, how you should always appreciate what life offers you because you never know what may happen in your life, how you should always look on the bright side of life (and things), to never give up on your goals and fight hard and keep trying, and that true love and courage always stands and that love and friendship is very powerful. And Arnold and Helga remind me a lot of myself.Like Helga i had a family (mainly my grandparents since i lived with them all of my life) that would always treat me as if i was the black sheep of the family (particularly since my mom is kinda like Miriam only kinda different in some ways) and would basically call me and my brother names and would either ignore us or treat us like dirt. But also they Helga , they would praise my cousins Valencia and Adrian and would basically treat my cousin Valencia as if she was royalty (just like how Helga's family would treat Olga.) Me and Helga definitely had a lot in common and yes there was a boy i liked who i would always bully but yet i would draw pictures of him and be secretive about it (would even stalk him sometimes at school: i was nuts). But a lot of kids would make fun of me since i was different from the kids (since i have autism and kinda tend to be in my own little world), and i would get bullied a lot, at home, at school, and even at church (which was why i left the church and found a new religion in wicca and felt way happier then i ever did in my life). But i would always turn to music and television to keep me from going crazy, and Hey Arnold helped me a lot. If it hadn't been for Arnold's kindness and Helga's personality, I would not have been the person i am now. So i thank Hey Arnold for that. He even encouraged me to take more appreciation in jazz too.2. What got you back into the series recently?I never really stopped watching Hey Arnold, though i'll admit that i was very busy back then dealing with problems in high school (where a lot of folks would pick on me too in high school and would even shove me and steal some personal things of mine), and in being forced to go to church everyday and according to my grandmother should "give up on watching cartoons " because i'm too old to watch cartoons and i should be thinking about the future and etc. But i never stopped thinking about Arnold, I mean who could forget about our Football Headed Hero who in a way kinda inspired Stewie Griffin's design. So i started looking up Hey Arnold out of curiousity and i remember watching a lot of Hey Arnold shows back when ArnoldPhillipShortman2 and Rugratsfrankie (my two biggest inspirations on Youtube who encouraged me to upload old cartoons and other shows on Youtube) started uploading the Hey Arnold shows as well as other shows. It was because of them that i was able to remember and once again love Hey Arnold and the characters and music. And most of all, remember my life.3. How did you find this group?I remember watching it on Youtube somewhere on ArnoldPhillipShortman2's video of the Journal episode where someone posted a link to this group. So i got kinda curious and started looking around and then eventually joining this group (there was also a Hey Arnold group on livejournal but it's not really as active as this group is; plus the founder of that group decided to give up on Hey Arnold and decided to venture onto other things.)4. What happened when you came onto the group?I cant really remember what happened when i joined this group since it's been a while or i don't know. But I know since when i started joining this group, it somehow felt like home, like i really belonged here instead of being cast aside or thrown out like garbage. It's like a place where i really belong and it is like family. And i found a lot of friends on here who also like anime as much as i do too he he ^_^ (i'm a huge anime fan and could tell you so much about it). 5.How does it feel being in this group? As stated, it does feel like family and it feels as if we share share a lot in common and that we all went through the same things and we all love our Football Headed Hero Arnold as well as our Cool but yet Tough and Sweet Helga. All we want is for Arnold to find his parents and for Arnold and Helga to have a happy ending, as well as also showing the Patakis too (cause Helga is one of my favorite characters next to Stella and Pheobe).besides If Ed, Edd, N Eddy can get a happy ending in showing the Tv movie series finale, and if Sailor Moon can a comeback in America by having the manga get rerealshed with new translations and art designs as well as Sailor V debuting for the first time in America then Hey Arnold can too. So far things have been going good, particularly since they started showing Hey Arnold on the 90's are all that page. I won't give up hope. I know Hey Arnold the Jungle Movie will get maid.
